Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has admitted he would love to leave Arsenal and play for Boca Juniors in the future.
The Uruguayan has been a cog in Unai Emery's midfield since joining from Sampdoria last summer with a string of fine performances that have endeared him to the Gunners faithful.
“One day, I want to play for Boca and wear their shirt. It’s a dream I have had since I was a little kid. It’s no secret, my family and friends know that," he told FOX Sports.
“I was with several friends in the Madrid final. I did not think I was going to suffer so much, I lived it with a lot of nerves.
“It was not as we wanted, but reaching the final is not for anyone. It was a nice show because I had never had the chance to see Boca.”
Torreira is expected to be in action on May 29th when Arsenal take on Chelsea in the final of the Europa League in Baku.
