Match preview 🏆

Arsenal's season probably hinges on the Europa League after a couple of weeks where they've faltered in the Premier League. Losses against Crystal Palace and Leicester and they now seem to have only one route back into the Champions League, and that's by winning the Europa League.

Valencia, after a tricky mid-season spell, is in the semi-finals of the Europa League, the final of the Copa del Rey and three points off the top four in La Liga. A wonderful position, but the cracks are starting to show. In the league, Marcelino's side has lost three of their last five matches, and this might well be the physical effects of so many draining and important matches on a small squad.

With the Gunners having won four consecutive home matches in the Europa League, including a recent thrashing of Napoli, we expect them to get the job done here. However, in each of Arsenal's last three games, they've conceded three goals and we're backing both teams to score priced at 1.76 on betPawa as a result.

Team news 🌟

Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey will not play again for the club after an injury sustained away to Napoli. This means that Unai Emery is likely to pair Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka in midfield and utilise a two-man attack of Alex Lacazette & Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The pair have scored two and four goals in the Europa League this season respectively, with Lacazette scoring a free-kick last time out at Napoli.

Francis Coquelin is suspended for Valencia and will miss the trip to his old club, while fellow Frenchman Geoffrey Kondogbia is out injured. Star midfielder Daniel Parejo has two goals in his previous four competitive matches for Valencia - including a goal in his previous Europa League match.
