Bologna can give their Serie A survival hopes a massive boost against bottom club Chievo and we expect them to get the three points tonight.
Betting key 🔑
- Safer bet = 💰
- Riskier bet = 💣
Bologna's winning streak of three games was dramatically ended in a 4-1 loss at Atalanta, but Sinisa Mihajlovic had probably expected to drop points in order to secure a victory here. Chievo has failed to win any of their last 16 away matches in Serie A and they've fired blanks in six of their last eight on the road, a very poor record that sees them rooted to the bottom of the table. They look destined for relegation and have little to play for.
Bologna's motivation will be greater and that should ensure that they pick up all three points here. With both sides struggling defensively, there should be goals, considering Bologna's curiously poor record against Chievo which has seen them keep only two clean sheets in the last nine meetings between the sides.
Team news & men to watch 🌟
Mattia Destro, Simone Edera & Federico Mattiello are all injured for the hosts. Riccardo Orsolini has scored or assisted in four of his last five Serie A games, underlining his importance to the Bologna cause. Ezequiel Schelotto is out for the visitors.
