EX Leopards coach misses title after poor run

AS Kaloum, home to former AFC Leopards coach has missed the Guinea Ligue 1 title after Horoya AC claimed the title early before the league ends due to superior point difference.

Minnaert's Kaloum is pegget at position 8 after drawing immensely in the last five matches and losing another. The champions have so far gathered 53 points leaving the second placed Wakirya way below with 43 points. Horoya has registered wins in its all five matches it has played last.

Minnaert left Rwanda side Mukuria Sports for Kaloum where he signed a one year deal. Minnaert made a return to Rwanda signing a six month deal with National Soccer League side Mukura which was then placed seven points above relegation zone.
