Chelsea youngster Nathan Ake who was loaned out to Bournemouth ahead of 2016/2017 season has stated that he is targeting to get more game time in order to have experience that will impress new manager Antonio Conte.
Ake who was on loan at Watford last season made 28 appearances in the club but now targets more game time than that as he looks to build himself so as to cement a starting spot in Conte’s squad.
Ake said that he thinks Conte sent him on loan because he wants him to play for the Blues and that it is now his choice to work on the few things that would make him a great player at Stamford Bridge.
-To get an eye on how I cope, I think he wants to see me play a season there in the Premier League. I'm looking to improve myself as a player and get more games under my belt. There are also little things I can work on, but it depends which position I'm going to play. I know I can improve a lot of things, hopefully I can do that here, he told reporters.
The Netherlands Under-21 international.was part of the Watford side who reached last season's FA Cup semi-final as well as a 13th-place finish in the Hornets' first season back in the top flight.
