The ins and outs an AFC Leopards continued as it was confirmed that Mickey Weche has replaced Nick Yakhama as the AFC Leopards assistant coach.

Yakhama, who has had a troubled second spell first as head coach then as assistant was given his marching orders after an AFC Leopards executive committee meeting late Tuesday evening.

Former AFC legend Weche will now take over as assistant to head coach Jan Koops, who remains in charge of the first team.

This is the third time this season that there has been a change topmost of the club's technical bench after the previous hiring and firing of Belgian coach Robert Bollen and Robert Matano.

Immediate effect

Weche will walk straight into the firing line as leopards face a tough KPL encounter with Western Stima on Thursday 28 July at the Nyayo National stadium.

Weche has until his appointment been the coach of Nationwide division one side Strathmore University.
