Immediate former Agro Chemicals head coach Patrick Odhiambo has been drafted into Western Stima's technical bench ahead of the 2017 season, Futaa.com can report.

Odhiambo had been touted to take over at Chemelil Sugar FC following Francis Baraza's departure but the millers opted to hire former KCB and Bidco coach Juma Abdallah.

Futaa.com understands Odhiambo is now headed to Western Stima as an assistant to Henry Omino, It's however not clear who between Omino's two assistants Ramadhan Balala and Hesborn Nyabinge will pave way.

When reached for a comment Stima chairman Laban Jobita declined to confirm or deny Odhiambo's appointment.

No confirmation

-I cannot confirm or deny these reports but I am aware he is available for hire. Things will be clearer on 15th January, for now I cannot comment on the issue we are focusing on our preparations for the new season, Jobita told Futaa.com.

Odhiambo, a long-serving player at Chemelil Sugar during his playing days has previously served as an assistant coach at Chemelil Sugar and has been a head coach at Muhoroni Youth and Agro Chemicals.
