Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division One side Utawala FC will stick to its two caretaker coaches; Mathew Agade and Newton Kiplagat for the 2012 season.

According to the club’s Secretary General Kefa Onditi, the team had discussion with a possible head coach on Wednesday 4 January 2011 but with discussions not fruitful, its back to its two senior players who guided the team towards the close of the 2011 season.

-We had discussions with a would-be Coach but we didn’t seem to agree. We will therefore stick with our two senior players who assisted us towards the close of the 2011 season, said Onditi to futaa.com

-The two are currently undergoing Coaching courses and we will put our trust in them, he added

Early in the 2011 season, Utawala was led by Coach Philip Ngei but due to illness the club decided to give him time to rest.

In the current season, Utawala is one of the Nakuru based clubs that will feature in the FKF Division One Western Zone which will be made of 16 teams. The other club from its periphery is Nakuru AllStars.
