Vihiga United Football Club is
remaining bullish that they will replace the high-profiled departure from the
team ahead of the 2017 season.
The Vihiga Country Government sponsored club has had to endure a mad rush for its player following their maiden NSL season
with Michael Isabwa and Bernard Ochieng agreeing better offers away from the
club; joining Sharks and Gor respectively.
Filling the voids
However despite the blow, coach Edward Manoah, a self-professed believer of grass root
talent maintains that he side will be making the replacements with minimal difficulty.
-There have been a number of departures,
I can confirm that of Benard (Otieno) and Mike (Isabwa) at the moment, there could
be more. But as I say we are capable of filling the voids created, We will head
to the grass root for that exercise, there is plenty of talent and we will be filling them soon and
let you know, Manoah told futaa.
A dependable keeper is the latest outbound move from the NSL side.
