Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker FC is in the hunt for a coach after the recent sacking of Sammy Pamzo Omollo as the team’s Head Coach.

Confirming this to futaa.com, Club Chairman James Musyoki said that Deputy Coach George Maina will take charge of the team till they find Pamzo’s replacement.

-We have parted ways with Omollo and are seeking for another coach. George Maina will be in-charge in the mean time, Musyoki told futaa.com.

The former Mahakama Coach led Tusker to their second KPL title last year as they finished the league with 58 points, one point ahead of runners-up and 2010 Champions Ulinzi Stars.

Omollo is a former Kenyan International who featured for Gor Mahia and Tusker, then known as Kenya Breweries, and Indian side East Bengal FC during his playing days.

His dismissal comes a few days after the Brewers parted ways with its Team Manager Neville Pudo whose position was taken up by immediate Rangers TM Willis Waliaula.
