Tight security at 2011 KUSA games

The Monday quarter-final KUSA games have witnessed tight security as officers take charge to avoid any ugly incidents during the proceedings.

A survey by futaa.com indicated that police officers were offering close surveillance to the quarterfinal games played at the Stima Club and Barclays Sports Club along Thika road.

Played concurrently

Two matches are being played simultaneously. In one match, Strathmore University takes on Kimathi University while in the second Kenyatta University faces USIU-Africa.

Strathmore were leading their opponents 1-0 into halftime with the goal being scored in the 19th minute by Solomon Pulu.

KU and USIU were at 1-1 draw by halftime. KCB striker Paul Mungai scored KU’s goal through a spot kick while USIU got theirs through Bidco players Vincent Mbindyo.

The matches are currently in the second half.
