Gor Mahia

Ze Maria charges have picked three wins in a row ever since falling to Mathare United on matchday eight. The three wins adds their tally of wins this season to eight (most wins in 2017 in KPL) as they had managed five in the first seven matches. The side has suffered two losses and picked just one draw this season.

Only Ulinzi Stars has scored more goals in the league than the 2015 Champions who have 16 so far. Their defence that had let in six goals in the opening eight games has managed a clean-sheet in the last three matches. (They need four more clean-sheets to beat last season record of six games in a row without conceding).

In their own backyard this season, Gor Mahia has collected 10 points winning three, drawing one and losing the other match. They have a low scoring record in their home matches with the last five home matches producing just four goals.

Thika United

Thika under former AFC Leopards coach Nicholas Muyoti are sitting in the relegation Zone for another season. They have won twice this season, drawn twice and lost seven. Muyoti who has tasted deafeat and a draw since taking over few weeks ago will be seeking to upset Gor Mahia and pick his first win in KPL.

Despite being last on the standings they are among the teams with more goals this season. They have scored 10 goals, only four teams have scored more than them in the league this season.

Their defence maybe the let down this season as it has soaked a maximum of 16 goals in just 11 matches. Thika holds the worst record on the road this season as they have lost all the five matches played away from home. They have let in 10 goals and scored just three while playing away from home.
