Division One side FC Talanta which staked a claim in the Kenyan football circles as the surprise package in last season’s FK Cup has staged another major coup with the acquisition of Karuturi Sport head coach Micheal Nam, if what the team’s Executive Director Jerome Dufourg says is anything to go by.

Dufourg, speaking on phone with futaa.com, confirmed that the coach has agreed terms with the team and is looking forward to Nam’s stint at the club with hope, admitting that with the coach’s recent history, a place in the top flight is within reach.

-Nam, who kept both Posta Rangers and Karuturi Sport in the Kenyan top flight, has replaced interim coach and club’s Technical Advisor Jonathan Coles.

-I am confident that his introduction to FC Talanta will enhance the spirit of the game and would also help the club to achieve its goals in the FKF Division One this season which could lead to promotion and of course a good run in the FK Cup, Jérôme said.

Nam has lately been reported to be on the verge of leaving for Norway where he will undertake an advanced coaching course.
