National Super League side Modern Coast Rangers has been invited by neighbours and Kenyan Premier League side Bandari for a friendly match on Saturday 18 February at the KPA Mbaraki Sports Club kick off being 1500 hours.
Rangers are preparing for the start of the National Super League 2017 season and has taken on the likes of Mathare United, KCB and Sofapaka in friendlies in a bid to boost their form and sharpen attack ahead of the season kick off.
Rangers Secretary General Ferdinand Ogot confirmed having received invitation by the Dockers for the match which will be a replay after the two sides came face to face a few days ago.
-We have been invited by Bandari to play friendly match this Saturday. It is a clash we are looking forward to since it gives us opportunity to gauge our squad’s abilities and ensures the boys are fit during the pre season period, said Ogot.
During the previous friendly played at KPA Mbaraki two weeks ago Bandari lost 1-2 to Modern Coast Rangers and Paul Nkata led team are seeking to avenge the defeat and boost payers morale ahead of the 2017 Kenya Premier League season.
The match comes barely days after another 0-2 to Mwatate United in a pre-season build match played last Tuesday at Wundanyi.
