Newly acquired Oserian FC coach Sammy Pamzo Omollo is
settling in at the Naivasha based Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side after his
first training session on Monday 20 August and he says he is preparing well for
the Nairobi City Stars game on Saturday 25 August.
Pamzo, a KPL
winner with Tusker FC last season and the reigning KPL coach of the year
believes the weekend game will enable him know the real attributes of the players
and devise a way to manage the side for future assignments.
-I am looking forward to preparing the team well for the
Nairobi City Stars game at the weekend, it is also good that we will be at home
and that game will give me a real picture of the team and individual players’
qualities. From then I will know how to handle the team in future assignments,
he told futaa.com.
The former Kenyan international defender also expressed his joy
at the high spirits in camp, a situation he says will help him deliver at his
new work station.
-The players here are also in the right mood and really
motivated. They are fired up and ready for the upcoming assignments and that is
a plus for me. I just hope we will be able to do this job together in its
completeness, he added.
