National Super League side Police FC will not be participating in any friendly matches over the week but will embark on its usual training sessions on Monday 20 February 2016, Head Coach Charles Omondi Korea has noted.

Just like any other team, Police has been taking part in preseason friendly matches ahead of the new season and after beating 15-time Premier League champions Gor Mahia on Thursday 16 February at Camp Toyoyo, Korea stated that the team will take a rest and come Monday it will be back to work as usual.

Weekend rest

-We will not be having friendly match over the weekend but we will be back to training on Monday. That was not our last friendly match, we will organize another lighter one now that the season kick off has been postponed. On the same note the kick off being confirmed i can at least plan my programme well. I only have one injury concern  but it is not a serious one so I hope that he [Cornelius] will be fine before the season starts, he told Futaa.

In an earlier interview with Futaa, Korea noted that his work plan is beginning to bear fruits and his team will be looking to finish at a better position this season after finishing at position thirteen last season.
