National Super League side St Joseph striker Salim Muya has expressed his disappointment after a 0-2 loss to Vihiga United on May 17 at Afraha Stadium, Nakuru.
Muya lamented that lack of clinical finishing in front of goal when chances came their way was what caused them the game however, acknowledged that the team was playing well but there was still room for improvement.
-The Vihiga loss was a disappointing one, since we had lots of chances to score but we couldn’t finish them off. The coach has spoken to us and emphasised that we need to capitalize on our chances. We are missing five of our key players due to injury and we hope soon they will be with us soon and boost our strength on the pitch. In our next match our main focus is to kill off the game in the first half, he said.
St Joseph who are 17th on the NSL Standings will tackle 16th placed Agrochemicals on May 21, 2017 in the next league fixture.
