big win was highly unexpected since Gor Mahia were held by the same team in
Nairobi and even the team’s head coach Zdravko Logarusic says he did not expect
that they would win that easily.
to cafonline.com, the Croatian

the poor show in the first leg and despite being convinced of a win, he didn’t imagine
it could be that easy.
wanted to make up for our bad result from the first leg where we created many
chances. The good thing is that we got off to a perfect start and then we
went on to score a lot of goals. I expected my team to win but not as easy
as we did against a team which has a lot of potential.
- We were slightly overconfident (in the first
leg) as we thought he had already won the match before going onto the
pitch. On the pitch, my players were a bit heavy as we were still in
pre-season. We created a lot of chances but could not score, he said.
Gor Mahia’s reward for the big win is a two legged tie
against Egyptian side ENPPI.
