Two of Chemelil Sugar
s home games that failed to kick off in the immediate past two weekends have now been rescheduled.
According to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) CEO, Chemelil’s game against KCB that was originally scheduled for Sat 31st October 09 at the Muhoroni Stadium will be now be played this Sunday 15th November 09 at the same venue – Muhoroni.
The game against Agro Chemicals that failed to kick off on 7th November 09 will also be played at the Muhoroni Stadium but on Wednesday 18th November 09.
Both games failed to kick off earlier due to what was reported as lack of security.
With the two games at hand, Chemelil Sugar
is placed 11th with 36 points and could leap up to seventh and just behind Nairobi City Stars
by winning the two games.
KCB sits just behind Chemelil Sugar
with three points less. Agro Chemicals occupies the last spot on the table with 23 points, four points off relegation bound Red Berets.
After the catch up games are played, the league will enter its final weekend on the 21st of November 09.
