Kisauni Youth profit in Mombasa District league

Good Hope made a good start in the Mombasa District Premier league when they whitewashed Nyali Strikers 5-1 in a match played at Kishada ground Thursday 2 May 2013.

Aislamu Sajad opened the floodgates in the 7’th min and Omar Musa doubled the lead in the 16’th.min. Abdalla Bori pulled a goal back for Nyali Strikers in the 27’th min. Swaleh Solum then stretched the lead with the third goal of the game in the 38’th minute for a 2-1 score at the breather. After resumption Good Hope piled pressure and Omar Musa scored the fourth goal in the 63’rd before Hytam Ali drove the final nail into Nyali Strikers coffin ten minutes to time.


On Friday, hosts Kisauni Youth came from behind to share the spoils with visiting Mtopanga Cranes in a Mombasa Premier League match played at the Khadija ground.

Wilson Musyoka Wambua sent Mtopanga in the lead on the 25’th minute, a score-line they maintained up to breather. Kisauni fought back and cancelled the deficit in the 70’th minute through Said Hamisi Said.

Eight matches

The district league matches continue this weekend with a total of eight matches, four on Saturday 4 May 2013 and another four on Sunday 5 May 2013
