The Kiambu Peace Cup hits the semifinals this weekend after thrilling quarterfinal matches played last weekend at the Ndumberi Stadium.

Clubs through to the semis of the tournament include Capital FC, Chocho, Bornstar FC and Kiambu United after winning their respective matches on Sunday 16 December 2012.

In the first quarterfinal match Capital FC beat Lost Capital 2-1 while Kiambu Sportiff narrowly lost to Chocho in the second match via an added time’s solitary goal.

The final two matches were also tightly contested with Bornstar FC edging past Kabass 2-1 while Kiambu United beat Dallas FC 2-0 via penalties.

This was especially an explosive match as Kiambu United goalkeeper Josh Maina turned his side’s savior stopping three penalties with Peter Thuo and David Mungai all converting on the opposite end.
