National Super League side Police have been forced to release one of its new signings Felix Anami who has received a scholarship in United States.
Anami was at the heart of Nairobi County side South B Allstars’ midfield last season before he was lured by Police Head Coach Chalres Omondi Korea.
Speaking to Futaa, after his side saw off Wajiji FC 2-1, the coach stated that the club had to release him since it could not deny him such an opportunity.
-The players have now clicked we are just waiting for the season to kick off. We had signed him [Anami] but he has received a scholarship to U.S so we could not hold him because this is a good opportunity for him.
Police finished at position thirteen last season.
