As reported on africansoccerunion.com, all affiliated clubs in the Kenyan football will have a chance to vote in the upcoming elections for the head of Football in the country.
The elections which are to be held on 24th April has attracted aspirants like: Extreme Sports CEO Hussein Mohammed, Sammy Sholei, Mohammed Hatimy and Sam Nyamweya. The Interim Elections Board-IEB has delayed the release of the guidelines causing anxiety in the football circles.

The new voting system will be used to tackle corruption which over the years has been the major factor that has seen the level of football in Kenya on a decline.
The candidates are required to produce a certificate of good conduct in order to ensure credibility.
The elections are eagerly awaited by the local fans as many of them are tired of the wrangles and disputes which have characterized the Kenyan football leadership over the years.

Football Kenya Limited-FKL is the only body recognized by FIFA at the moment. They will hold elections this month for the post of chairmanship.
The number of votes allotted to each club is yet to be known as an agreement between IEB and FIFA has not been reached. It is believed FIFA would prefer one vote per club while IEB would prefer three votes per club.
