Italian Serie A side Inter Milan will be given priority in the sale of  Manchester Citystriker Mario Balotelli, should it happe.

After impressing in the 2011/12 season Batolelli went on plunge that has seen him net only one goal in the current season.

With the relationship between the 22 year old and City’s head Coach Roberto Mancini headed for the dogs, it is speculated that the team will release him to the Serie A before the end of January.

This, coupled with City’s announcement that they are planning to bring on board Napoli forward Edisnson Cavani, has made Inter’s sporting director Pier Ausilio come out and declare that they had an agreement with City over decisions made in regards to Balotelli’s future.

-It's true, Inter have first refusal right for Mario Balotelli. We will decide to exercise it if City will choose to sell him, Ausilio told Panorama.

Staying put

Balotelli’s agent has in the recent past noted that the player, who has recently been linked with a move to AC Milan, will not leave Etihad in the current transfer window.
