Ingwe set for Thursday departure

AFC leopards will leave their Mumias camp on Thursday 20 September for their high stakes’ Tusker Premier League (TPL) clash against Gor Mahia scheduled for two days later at the Moi International Sports Centre (MISC) Kasarani.

Last session

The team has been in camp in the Western Kenya town since Sunday 16 September after the 1 – 2 loss to Western Stima and according to coach Jan Koops, they will have a last training session on Thursday morning before taking the flight to Nairobi.

-We will have a morning training session from around 0800hrs to 1000hrs; it will be our last training here in Mumias. We will afterwards leave for Kisumu to take a flight to Nairobi for the final preparations for the game.

-The team is in high spirits despite the weekend setback and the players are looking to bounce back, he told

AFC Leopards are second on the 16 team log with 45 points, two more than Gor Mahia after 24 matches.
