Guinea Bissau Coach Luis De Matos has set his sights on the trip away to Kenya after their loss to Uganda on Saturday 4th June 2011.

Bissau lost 2-0 to the cranes in Kampala to leave them at the foot of African cup of nations qualifying group J with just three points from four games.

Their only win of the campaign was a 1-0 victory over Kenya at home in the first group game in September 2010. They next face the same opponents and De Matos is looking forward to playing them after a disappointing loss in Uganda.

-I think we knew before that Uganda (Cranes) is a strong side when they play at home and expected a lot of pressure from Uganda team and of course in the first half we had some difficult to play.

-Our plan was to go into halftime at 0-0, but a lucky goal for the opponents changed all that. We had a good reaction and nearly leveled in last minutes of first half.

- In the second half we tried to change things around but once again we made mistakes at the back for Uganda to score the second goal, he told Cafonline.

Young team

Bissau have lost to Angola and twice to Uganda since the win over Kenya, but De Matos feels that his team is young and will learn from their experience as they embark on their future games.

-Our objective is to prepare for the future; we have a very young team. I must congratulate my young players.

-The next game is against Kenya away, we must try our best and our best is to try to win the game and the last one against Angola the same. We are going to try our best to win the next game, he declared.

Luis De Matis is a Portuguese national.
