left-back Macqbul Mohammed is edging closer to a switch to Gor Mahia where he
will replace Georgia bound Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma.
Macqbul starred for Jericho in the Sportpesa Super 8 League
in 2016 and is now set to make a big move to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giant that
has been busy in the transfer market bolstering ahead of the new season.
The defender’s imminent move to Gor Mahia has been confirmed
by club Organizing Secretary Judith Anyango who revealed that negotiations with
the player and his club are at an advanced stage.

-Macqbul will be our player soon, we are still negotiating
but I can confirm we are almost done with talks, Anyango told Futaa.com.
Jericho through their Twitter account also confirmed that talks
over a transfer of the player to the former KPL champs are underway.
-Our wing back Maqbul is on the verge of
moving to Gor Mahia if talks go through successfully. Talks with Gor Mahia are

Gor has already completed the signing of Mike Simiyu from
Muhoroni Youth, Simiyu and Macqbul will compete for the left-back position.
