Fulham are making plans to have McDonald Mariga join them.
The team first announced interest in the 25-year-old Kenyan
midfielder in October 2012 and reports indicate that the club boss Martin Jol
has set out £2.5million (approx. KSh300 million ) to lure the player to his side.
Mariga moved to Inter Milan in 2010 after having served
fellow Serie A side Parma FC. He later moved to Spanish la Liga side Real
Sociedad, before returning to Parma, on loan.
At the beginning of the current season, he returned to his
parent side, but picked a knee injury early in the year, to see him stay out of
competitive play for seven months.
He has recently returned to active play making a number of
brief appearances for Inter.

Mariga is expected to formally ask for permission from the club on 3 January to
move out on a loan spell that will potentially see him get more playing time.
