Flower boss to ride on momentum

On Sunday 28 April 2013, Karuturi Sport embarrassed hosts Ulinzi Stars, the 2010 Kenyan Premier League Champions, with a 2-0 beating at their Afraha Stadium backyard.

The win, the second of the season, lifted the side a new high, spirit-wise, and they hope to carry on when they host Western Stima in the next league game on Saturday 4 May at the ‘Old Trafford’.

According to Head Coach James Omondi, a former Assistant at Thika United, they hope to ride on the momentum from the Ulinzi win to switch off the power men

-We have tough games lined up one after the other. But that’s not a problem, we now have Western Stima and we are ready to take on them

Karuturi sit at spot 13 on the log with nine points off ten games. Francis Baraza Coached Western Stima, having played a game less are two positions and two points better than their opponents.
