Golden Arrows has
confirmed that midfielder Clifton Miheso has been released from hospital after
recovering from a throat infection.
Miheso returned to South Africa from national team duty with Kenya suffering from the
ailment and subsequently missed the 1-0 win over Highlands Park as well as they
3-0 defeat at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns. The 23-year-old was hospitalized
for a spell due to the severity of the infection but is now back in training
with Abafana Bes'thende.
-Miheso came back with throat infection from national team duty. He was hospitalized
but he is out now, Larsen told kickoff.com.
The loss to Sundowns was a bitter pill for Larsen to swallow as he felt the
absence of key players may have cost them. However, the 45-year-old manager
noted with pleasure that he would be able to welcome back many key figures next
week when his side host Polokwane City.
-Fortunately we have two suspended players coming back, KG [Kagisho
Dikgacoi] and [Nkanyiso] Mngwengwe are coming back - two key players with lots
of experience, added Larsen.
Golden Arrows are fourth in the log with 17 points after playing 10 matches.
