A stay at the club, where he has had a successful season scoring wise, is high on his agenda and the striker is hopeful the club will oblige.
-My deal expires in December, meaning I will be a free agent. That is my status at the moment.
-I am hoping for an extension to my current deal, because I love the club and have had a good time while playing here. However, I do not know whether I will get anything, but I should know in the next few days, he told Futaa.com.
In the event his deal is not renewed, Omondi, has other offers on the table, but he insists his heart is set on an extended stay with the sugar millers.
-I have some offers, which I cannot talk about, but I want to stay at SoNy. If I can get a new contract there, then I would be fine, he insisted.
The striker scored seven goals in the 2011 Kenyan Premier League, and could have had more, had it not been for a nagging groin injury.
