Midfielder Elvis Nandwa, of Mathare United, joined former Tusker Premier League
Champions Ulinzi Stars in training on resumption from the December break.
According to he club's Chairman Lt. Col Juma Shee Mwinyikai, the team is
on the verge of sealing the player’s move.
Of the decision to sign the player, the club's Chairman Mwinyikai said his name was proposed by head Coach Salim Ali.
-Nandwa has been training with us for the past one week on the recommendation of the Coach. He is not our player yet but from the recommendation of the coach and upon release from Mathar he could be joining us, Mwinyikai told Futaa.com.
The 21 year-old becomes the eighth player to leave the slub- Simon Mburu (unattached), Francis Ouma (SoNy), Jesse Were and Andrew Tololowa (both Tusker), Martin Musalia (AFC Leopards), Antony Kimani (in talks with AFC), Innocent Mutiso (Training with Gor Mahia)
