Caf will conduct the 2017 confederation second round draws on Tuesday afternoon in Cairo Egypt.
Ugandan champions KCCA FC and fifteen other teams that failed to progress to the group stages of the Champions league will have a second shot at a continental group stage.
They join the sixteen that cruised through the first round of this tournament. Among them include, Platinum Stars that ejected Vipers SC and Rwanda's Rayon Sports.
The draw will pit the qualified teams from the round against the losers from Champions League.
The first leg matches will take place on the weekend of 7-9 April 2017 and the return leg on the weekend of 14-16 April 2017. The champions league losers host the tie first.
