AS Kenyan Premier League side Ulinzi Stars looks to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the preliminary round second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup agaisnt Libya's side Libya's side Al Hilal Bengazi on Saturday 18 February 2017 at Moi Stadium Kasarani, the club's Vice Chairman Major Joe Birgen has urged local fans to come in large numbers to support the Soldiers.
The Benjamin Nyangweso coached side which missed its key-man Mark Makwatta lost 1-0 in the first leg that was played in Egypt but it will be looking to turn the game around and Birgen believes fans will play a crucial role in helping the team progress to the next stage.
-It is a tough match but we are determined to win. The home support will be very crucial and I want to urge all football loving Kenyans to come out at Kasarani and support us,” Major Birgen told the club's official portal.
Al Hilal arrived in the country on Wednesday and will train at the Kasarani Stadium on Friday evening. VIP tickets will retail at KSh. 300 while the other sitting areas will be charged a flat rate of Ksh. 100.
