As Kenyan Premier League side and CAF Confederations Cup representatives Ulinzi Stars prepare for the second leg of the preliminary round against Libyan side Al Hilal Benghazi, Head Coach Benjamin Nyangweso has called for the team to minimise errors so as to overturn the deficit.
The Soldiers suffered a 1-0 defeat in the first leg to the Libyan side in a match played in Egypt but Nyangweso believes hard work and minimal errors will see the team through to the next round.
Speaking at the club's official portal, Nyangeso who missed the service of star attacker John Makwata due to visa issues added that the team gave its hosts a good game and it is now working hard to rectify its mistakes it did in the first leg.
-It is not an easy match because they are a very tactical team. But if we work hard and minimize on our mistakes, it is a result we can overturn. The players are working hard in training and hopefully we will be at our best. They scored when my defenders stood back thinking the referee would be calling for an offside which he didn’t. But we gave in a very good match and we had chances which we failed to use. This is one of the things we are looking at for the return leg. We should use our chances, Nyangweso said.
The return leg will be played on Saturday 18 February 2017 at the Moi Stadium Kasarani and it will kick off at 1500hrs.
