Kenyan Premier League giant, AFC Leopards has confirmed the signing of ten new players ahead of the 2017 Kenyan Premier League season.
The club has finalized deals for five players and has reached an agreement with five more players who are expected to finalize their moves to the den in the next few days. Those signed include Western Stima right-back Dennis Sikhayi, Nairobi Stima speedy left-back Marcus Jairo Abwao, Kakamega Homeboyz young central defender Michael Kibwage. Sofapaka attacking midfielder Elias Ibrahim Mao and Leopards under 20 striker Vincent Ouma Oburu have also linked up with the senior team.
The club has also reached an agreement with Mathare United duo of Whyvonne Isuza and Robinson Kamura, the duo’s transfer will be completed once they get release letters from their current club. Leopards has also reached an agreement with Posta Rangers duo of Duncan Otieno and Salim ‘Shittu” Abdalla, Muhoroni Youth winger Samwel Ndung’u is also expected to join the club.

Dennis Sikhayi – Defender joins from Western Stima, Marcus Abwao – Defender from Nairobi Stima, Mike Kibwage – Defender formerly of Kakamega Homeboyz and Vincent Ouma Oburu – Striker who gets promoted from the Junior team. Ibrahim Elias Mao also joins the team from the Sofapaka U20 side.
-The club has also agreed personal terms with Abdallah Yusuf (Shittu) – Defender (Posta Rangers), Duncan Otieno – Midfielder (Posta Rangers)and Samuel Ndungu – Midfielder (Muhoroni Youth). They will join the rest of the team once their current contracts expire at the respective clubs. Former Mathare United duo Yhvonne Isuza and Robinson Kamura will sign for Ingwe after they secure release letters from the current club. We also confirm that we are engaging Western Stima for the possible signing of Goalkeeper Gabriel Andika.
