Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Paul Pogba will play against Crystal Palace in United’s final game of the season.
The French international missed United’s two matches following the death of his father but Mou says Pogba is showing strength after the loss and needs more minutes ahead of the Europa League final next Wednesday.
- Paul is fine, strong guy, strong mentality. He is learning how to live after his father passed away, but he is strong, said United boss.
Mourinho, who last week branded United's remaining league games as a nuisance, also confirmed Chris Smalling and Marouane Fellaini will miss Sunday's clash at Old Trafford, leaving him no choice but to field up to 10 of Nicky Butt's youth players. Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Axel Tuanzebe, Dimitri Mitchell, Scott McTominay, Josh Harrop, Matthew Willock, Angel Gomes, Zachary Dearnley and goalkeepers Joel Castro and Kieran O'Hara, will all feature.
