Zoo beat Shabana for seventh straight win

Zoo Kericho continued with their fine run in the Division One [Western Zone] League with a 2-1 win over Shabana, on Sunday 14 October, at Kericho Stadium.

It’s the second defeat for the former Tusker Premier League side this weekend, following their 2-1 loss to Nzoia United on Saturday.

Last gasp

Geoffrey Gichana opened the scoring in the 2^nd minute before Joseph Muturi leveled the score in the 82^nd minute.

However, Gilbert Ayieko struck in the stoppage time for the hosts to register their seventh straight win.

Zoo are ranked eighth on the log, 15 points ahead of 13^th placed Shabana.
