Saintfet was shown the door hours before the weekend clash with JKT Ruvu on Sunday 23 September 2012 for what the club termed as an unnaceptable start to the 2012-13 Vodacom Premier League season.
Having drawn their first match of the season 0-0 against Tanzania Prisons, they were then hammered 3-0 by Mtibwa Sugar.
The former Namibia coach was however categorical that not the club's form, but other issues were privy to his sacking.
Shocked
- After two games you cannot say we had false start - Mourinho has the best players in Spain but he does not win every game, he told BBC Sport.
- We were in a group discussion [with the club's board], they asked me my opinion about what was going on, I made my my thoughts very clear, but other people had other ideas on how the club should be run, and the club president said you are hereby sacked.
- They bought players for their own benefit. I had my list, but they bought players who were not needed, he retorted.
With Saintfet gone, Yanga proceeded to whip Ruvu 4-1.
