X-mas treat for Leopards’ coach Jan Koops

Jan Koops

After leading AFC Leopards into an impressive position last season and winning the Kibunja Peace Mission Cup, Dutch-born coach Jan Koop has something to smile for.

Koops has been rewarded a Christmas treat by Leopards’ sponsors Mumias Sugar Company Limited, paying for him all expenses during the Christmas festivities.

Mumias stay

The Dutch-man travelled to Mumias on Thursday 22 December where he’ll be staying till January 3 2012 when he’ll return back to Nairobi.

-I am happy that I will be enjoying myself in Mumias. It’s a cool place for the X-mas celebrations. I travelled today (Thursday) and I will be returning back to Nairobi early January to prepare the team for the 2012 KPL season, Koops told futaa.com.

-The trip is courtesy of our official sponsors Mumias Sugar, reveled the tactician.

Leopards finished the season with 46 points at position five.
