The English Premier League (EPL) side Swansea City captain Ashley Williams has agreed to a new deal at the club, just 12 months after signing a three year extension.

Targeted

The 28-year old Welshman has been a key target for a number of premier league team especially after making a great start to life in the English top flight last season but with the news of an improved deal, Swansea could well have won the fight to keep their star.

Williams’ new deal comes just a few weeks after goalkeeper Michael Vorm signed a long term contract with the South Wales club.
