 The South Coast Provincial league finally returned after taking a break due to the Holy month of Ramadhan.

Abbas Dadi

In Zone A, five games were played across Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September 2012.

On Saturday, Muhiddin Abbas Dadi scored a hat trick to lift his team West Ham to an emphatic 4-0 win over visiting Veczular in a South Coast Provincial League clash played on Saturday 8 September 2012. 

Mustafa Jamal opened the lead in the 18th minute before Muhiddin Abbas Dadi doubled the score in the four minutes after the half hour mark.

Dadi stretched lead with the third goal in the six minutes after the hour mark before he wrapped the match by completing his hat trick in the 71st minute.

Cyrus Opondo

In another Zone A match played on Saturday at Bilima Ngombeni Youth shocked hosts Randa Stars 2-1.

On Sunday, Shanzu United’s Sunday Ngala scored his 12th goal of the season to lift his side to a 2-1 roast over Changamwe Soccer aristocrats Supper Eagles in a bad tempered tie played at the Changamwe Estate playground. 

Emanuel Mwandurya opened the chart in the 17th minute before Cyrus Opondo Eto pulled back for Supper Eagles in the 38th minute. Sunday Ngala who is the second top scorer in the league sealed the victory for Shanzu seven minutes to time.

Five ahead

The match was held up in the 70’th min for almost 15 minutes when Supper Eagles fans protested after the referee reversed her decision to award them a penalty and instead pointed for a free kick.

After playing 16 matches, Shanzu United maintain the lead on the log with 35 points, five points ahead of second placed Supper Eagles who have a game in hand.

In other zone A matches played today SS Assad squeezed a 2-1 victory over hosts Birikani HotStars at Migundini in Kokotoni. Ziwani Youth walked past Juve Nibal after a 3-2 thumping at Ziwani Lasco ground
