West Ham clips Super Eagles wings

West Ham clipped the wings of Changamwe's Super Eagles with a 2-1 win in a third tier South Coast Provincial League match played at the RG Ngala ground on Saturday 29 September 2012.

West Ham drew the first blood in the 22nd minute through Muhiddin Abbas. Nassib Ronny Twalib made it 2-0 in the 78th min following a defensive lapse. 

Douglas Ademba pulled back a goal for Super Eagles ten minutes to time.

Super Eagles were reduced to ten men four minutes later after Michael Makokha made a rough tackle on an opponent.

-The match was a crucial. Though we won Super Eagles is a good team. We are now determined to turn tables on our next opponents Shanzu United next Sunday, he said

After playing 16 matches, West Ham occupy second position on the log with 34 points level with SS Assad and two points less than leaders Shanzu United. West Ham prays that SS Assad lose a Sunday match against Rhino at Pangani.

 In other Zone A matches played on Saturday, Ocenia drowned Birikani Hotstars 2-0 at Ramisi School ground while Ngombeni Youth settled to a one all draw with Wananyuki at Ngombeni.
