Were glad to get playing time

Jesse Were

Mathare United ace Jesse Were believes his form is at its peak and he attributes this strengthening to hardwork and a belief by Coach Stanley Okumbi.

-I have been very committed to training and thus the improvement in my form, Were told Futaa.com.

-The coach has also shown that he trusts in my ability by giving me a chance to play. In this regard, I am always out to prove that I am worth his trust.

Ahead of their Saturday 18 August match against Muhoroni Youth, Were said that they will be out seeking points and that they will try as much as possible to steer clear of a loss.

-We are going to Muhoroni keen to avoid a loss. If we pick a point well and good, if we win the better.

Standings

Mathare are currently ranked 11th  in the Premier League, while Muhoroni are placed 15th, second from bottom.
