Weekend derby changes date

The much awaited Nairobi derby between arch rivals AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia has been brought forward by a day to Saturday 22 September 2012 from the earlier date of Sunday 23 September.

Confirmed

Reliable reports have indicated to futaa.com that indeed the match date has changed and will now be played a day before but the venue and time remain intact.

It was also indicated that the change could have been informed by the need to have in place adequate security measures with the federation settling on Saturday as the lesser congested day.

Match venue remains Moi Sports Centre Kasarani with the kick off at 1500Hrs.
