Wednesday confirmation for Stima-AFC venue

The venue for the Tusker Premier League (TPL) match pitting Western Stima at home to AFC Leopards will be confirmed on Wednesday 12 September by the league’s technical committee.

Alternative venue

According to communication from TPL, the committee had posted their reservations about hosting the game at the Bukhungu Stadium and after inspection concluded that the home team seeks an alternative venue.

The Western Stima chairman had earlier confirmed that Bukhungu has been ruled out with the most likely venue being Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium.

AFC leopards had already made the long trip to Western in preparation for the Saturday 15 September game.
