Rangers FC, who have just landed a sponsorship deal with Daima after a turbulent season in 2011, might just be in a position to afford a broad smile after one of the club’s key players Lawrence Webo reiterated his commitment to the team.
Restated commitment
The former AFC Leopards goalkeeper, who had been said to be on his way out of the club spoke to futaa.com and restated his commitment to Rangers FC, but didn’t rule out jumping ship in case a better offer comes by.
He described the team, which survived the whole of last season without a sponsor, as a great team with a great squad.
Attended training
-I am a Ranger and am fully committed to the Rangers’ cause, unless a new development comes by. At the moment I remain committed to the team because here is like my home, with a great squad and understanding. I even attended Thursday’s training at the Railways grounds with the team, Webo offered.
Webo had a good season with Rangers last time out, standing strong among a few other key players who remained in the team after massive exodus rocked the team in the mid of last season.
