After testing the Afraha Stadium grounds moments after arriving in Nakuru, from Mumias, AFC Leopards’ head Coach Jan Koops says it is in good condition.
He, however, is still not amused by the decision to shift it from Bukhungu, where it had initially been set for play.
-We have no problem playing Stima anywhere in the country, but we should have been alerted about the change in due time, Koops told Futaa.com.
-It really does not make sense for them to wait for us to travel to Mumias and then inform us of the change. This is especially in knowledge that they had the Mumias Sports Complex as a great alternative, if they found Bukhungu unplayable.
-All in all, we are in Nakuru and we are ready for the match tomorrow.
Standings
AFC are the current league leaders, while Stima are ranked seventh.
