Victor Wanyama, the Kenyan midfielder, who is currently signed to Scottish Premier League Champions Celtic, has his hands full with both club and country duty.
The player received the call to play in Kenya’s friendly match against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana, to be played on 16 October.
Celtic will be playing Heart of Midlothian on 7 October, before the player is released to join the Harambee Stars for the international friendly.
He will then return back to league action, as well as the UEFA Champions League should his team progress into the round of 16 [He will miss their 23 October match against Barcelona on account of having picked his fifth yellow card].
Ready
However, even amidst all these demands, Wanyama says he is equaled to the task.
-There are a lot of games at the start of the season including internationals, which means there is a lot of travelling as well as playing, he told the Evening Times.
-But, for me it is no problem.
