Kenyan international Victor Wanyama is one of the 18 players named for Celtic’s match on Saturday 27 October against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League (SPL) at the Celtic Park.
Rejected deal
The midfielder has cemented his place in the team’s starting eleven and despite rejecting a new deal tabled by the club on Thursday 25 October, coach Neil Lennon will still enlist his services in the 1700hrs (Kenyan time) kickoff.
Lennon may, however, miss the services of Greece international forward Giorgios Samaras who twisted his ankle in the midweek defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League game at the Nou Camp.
